Robert Landry is a guitar player who has mainly been involved on the studio scene - as most of his band in this project. Musician, composer, arranger and producer - in the case of this project he is co-producer - he has signed all the compositions on this CD (for most, in all and for a few, in part).  

Over the eighties and nineties, Robert has also played with different bands and in different styles and settings.  He toured with his own band but also played lots of different gigs (clubs and other types).  His versatility served many others - both for live support and recording purposes.  With the release of his first CD in the mid-eighties, he has also made several appearances on TV shows (national and local), where he performed some of the titles of this release.

Free waves and summer dreams special edition offer more than just a reissue of the original album. Thanks to the belief and request from many people, including numerous requests from radio and broadcasters who have been supporting selections from this project for over a decade, this is the first release of the selections in the CD format. Some of the selections have been remixed and additional elements have been incorporated, at CoolJazzFactory in Montreal (Canada), and some unreleased material has been added. The content has been entirely digitally remastered.  

Mostly classified in the smooth jazz and pop jazz areas, this CD feature great musicians and vocalists, some of them well-known in the studio scene and who have worked for big names.
